Kat Ogden is the wife of Lenny Ogden, who works for the Rome Fire Department.
Kat and her husband are friends with the family of Sheriff Giles, whom suspects the Ogdens of having something to do with the possessions.
In reality Kat is possessed by a devil. The devil has learnt to live with Kat.
Her husband knows the truth; however, he accepts it saying he prefers the "improved Kat". Kat and her husband start to leave Rome in order to avoid detection, but chages her mind at the bidding of Sidney as she is devoted to the cause.
